It's done!

Ok, I'm posting this more for me as a timestamp more then anything.

I got the IUD placed yesterday.

Yes, I did the research, and Mr. P did even more research and it was very simple although it did hurt. If that's what having a baby is like...wow you moms are amazing, really. Overall the process was done in 5 minutes, but it was the later part that was the 'traumatic' experience. Ok, I rarely get cramps, so when the IUD was placed it was like nothing I had experience before. I was sweating, felt super weak, naseuous and could barely talk above a whisper. It could just be that my body was in shock by the invasion(so dramatic, yes I know) or I have a really low pain tolerance.

It's done!

That's what mine looks like, and it says it can last up to 20 years without 'deterioration'. Yeah, I'll stick with 10 years or less. Anyhow, whyyy did I get it in China? Well the leading factor to get it here(aside from the obvious where else?) was because China is crazy with their birth control options, seriously, how else would they keep their population in check? Plus, it's not some new thing that China has just started doing, they've been doing it for years, AND it only cost 150 RMB all together. So, just the fact that it's so cheap means that a LOT of women are doing it, which means that it's a practice all hospitals are capable and comfortable doing. So now, I don't have to worry about remmembering to take the pill every morning or freaking out when I forgot it for a day. Yay.
